Pretty much what you would expect - what was selected isn't, and what wasn't is. Can be very handy used in conjunction with wildcard select.
Does exactly as its name suggests - selects all Null objects in the scene.
Selects all objects (optionally including nulls) whose name matches a pattern.

I suggest you copy the extracted files to the folder Plugins/LScripts/Third-Party
Having done that you have two choices:
- You can run them on an ad-hoc basis using the LScript/RT button
- You can add them as plug-ins, in which case they can be assigned to menus and/or shortcut keys -
I suggest assigning the asterisk ( * or Shift-8 ) to Wildcard Select,
and the double quote( " or Shift-' ) to Invert Selection (matches Modeller).
